General* instructions for using CBD oil
When seeking the studied effects of CBD, CBD oil has been used orally, typically by placing a few drops under the tongue. This allows the substance to be absorbed more efficiently through the oral mucosa and has a faster onset of action than when swallowed. In several surveys and consumer studies, daily use (e.g., once or twice daily) has been common* [1, 2].
Dosage in general*
Dosage of CBD oil varies from person to person, depending on factors such as body weight, metabolism, and intended use. Commonly* used amounts range from around 5–40 mg per day. [3]
How to identify safe CBD oil
When assessing the safety and purity of CBD oil, the following factors should be taken into account, among others.
Origin of raw materials : most CBD oils on the market are made from CBD, the origin of which is impossible to trace. If the authorities were to request certificates of origin for the CBD, most operators would not be able to provide one.
The CBD in CBD Arctic oils (as well as the numerous other cannabinoids contained in our broad-spectrum oil) comes from EU-certified hemp grown in Northern Lakeland Finland, where the cultivation is supervised by the authorities. In the middle of the forests of Lakeland Finland, the air is clean – perhaps the cleanest in the world.
Where and how the oil is manufactured is a significant part of the product's safety. At its most egregious, CBD oil suppliers order CBD isolate from the cheapest possible sources to maximize profits, then blend it themselves under dubious conditions with some readily available imported oil (usually MCT or coconut oil).
CBD Arctic oils are manufactured in Finland, in premises suitable for food production. The manufacturing process follows the HACCP quality system, which allows the process to be traced and monitored. The carrier oil used is cold-pressed, high-quality, tested and food-grade blackcurrant seed oil, which contains a lot of beneficial and healthy compounds. In addition, natural vitamin E and possibly unique, gently extracted ginger oil, registered as a dietary supplement in Finland, which contains a large amount of healthy gingerols and shogaols, are used.
When choosing CBD oil, find out where the CBD comes from and how and where it is made.
When you want to be sure you are getting pure, high-quality, genuine broad-spectrum CBD oil.
Choose CBD Arctic.

*“Generally” refers to countries and regions where the internal use of CBD is permitted and established, such as Canada, Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and several states in the United States. In the European Union, no products containing CBD have been approved for internal use as food (the so-called Novel Food Regulation), although some of the aforementioned countries apply the regulation in a different way in practice.
As no CBD products are approved for internal use as food under the EU Novel Food Regulation, CBD Arctic oils are sold and marketed in the European Union for cutaneous and external use. CBD Arctic products are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any disease. Their use should not be considered medical treatment.
All CBD Arctic oils have been safety tested and registered in the EU CPNP system in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009.
